Rashami drops her husband Nandish’s surname

rashami aka Tapasya of 'Uttaran' has been fielding questions about husband Nandish Sandhu since the news of trouble in marriage has started doing the rounds. The two actors tied the knot in February, 2011 and their marriage hit choppy waters a year later.

While they have remained tight-lipped about their personal life, the latest development has only raised eyebrows. The actress, who was particular about asking the scribes to add Sandhu after her maiden surname, has quietly dropped it. She now sticks to her original name Rashami Desai.

When asked the actress simply said, "What's in a name?" However, she hasn't removed the surname from her accounts on social networking and micro-blogging sites.
